My name is Adam. As an animator I believe the beauty of the world will not be seen in a snapshot. I believe instead it must be looked at as a streak of uninterrupted motion from a past moment to a present one. My work involves me choosing a topic that I am interested in whether it be a setting or a character. I always start with one of the two. My animation is based in 3D space which helps me articulate my point across better than a 2D space could because you get the widest range of motion in the setting and characters. When animating I decide if I want the motion to be more serious or carefree because when animating the two are drastically different. The animation I am most proud of is one where I did different ways to use sign language in order to help people who are just learning, and it covers every letter. My art shows subjectivity in narratives which show themselves as nonpartial. By arbitrating them through clearly made up and personal means, just like animation that is traditionally drawn. I decipher them into perceptible and as a result very subjective experiences people can have. By looking at my work as an intrusive undertaking, I gather segments of human interactions not in the hopes that I might capture them, but to provide them with living form and space.
